Guardian of California flavor

 

Caliveda is inspired by Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom, and war. She is often depicted with her sacred creature, an owl, which symbolizes her association with wisdom and knowledge. Now incarnated in this owl form, her spirit helps guard our finest Northern California vineyards from above.

 

Caliveda is crafted from grapes grown throughout California’s historic inland & coastal AVAs. Through the artful blending of vineyards from these regions, Italian winemaker Stefano Migotto uses classic winemaking techniques to create the purest expression of each region’s unique personality, in a harmoniously balanced, flavorful wine.
